Mr. Vinod from the HR Department, SKH Metals Limited briefed the students about the SKH Metals and the manufacturing units in the industry. Students were divided into four groups, the first group was headed by Mr. Vinod, second group was headed by Mr. Rohit Yadav, Engineer, SKH Metals, third group was guided by Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sharma, Senior Engineer, SKH Metals and the fourth group was guided by Mr. Akshay, Engineer, SKH Metals. The groups were taken into the industry and each guide explained about the different departments of the company. The experts made the students aware about the various types of welding by having live demonstrations of their welding workshop where the products are manufactured. For manufacturing they have a separate department in which all the body parts are manufactured by the use of sheet metal. Operations of welding & moulding were fully automatic with the help of robotic machines. |
