PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT

Four students of Vth Semester EEE, Arjit Rawat, Ujjwal Kumar, Abhishek Kumar and Arshad Ali (Youth Inspirators Group) conducted a seminar / workshop in Chimaya Vidyalaya, Vasant Vihar Delhi on 30th Sep’2014 on behalf of IEEE student branch. The workshop was attended by about 100 students of class XII from science and commerce streams.

The seminar started at 8 a.m. in the auditorium. Ujjwal Kumar, started with an introduction of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon. He explained about IEEE, IEEE DCEG Student Chapter & Young Inspirational Group, He also briefed about the role of students in IEEE Student Branch. Arjit Rawat started off the main seminar and articulated about the concept of a well-defined personality and what it means to a person, how it creates an impact and what are its basic aspects. He also dwelt on motivation and the benefits of being motivated.

Another important topic concerning the present day generation was discussed which dealt with overcoming guilt, worries and anxiety. An activity ‘Tower Building’ was conducted for the students. The seminar concluded with a vote of thanks.

The seminar proved extremely useful to the school students. The Principal of Chinmaya Vidyalay rendered his appreciation for the support of management of Dronacharya College of Engineering for promoting such kind of workshops for school students. His positive feedback motivated the members of the group.
