WORKSHOP ON OPTISYSTEM

On 25th April 2014, Ms. Priya Yadav and Ms. Anshul Vats from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a workshop on OptiSystem at ITM University, Gurgaon.

During the workshop the experts Mr. Amandeep Singh and Mr. Abhimanyu introduced the optical communication system design, passive optical networks (PON), free space optic systems (FSO), and various other applications with the help of the Optisystem. They also explicated Component Library, Mixed Signal Representation, Measured Components, Optiwave Software Tools, OptiAmplifier, OptiBPM, OptiGrating, WDM_Phasar, and OptiFiber etc.

The workshop was beneficial for the participants as the trainers explained the relevance of optisystem in research and for further studies.
