AWARD CEREMONY

As a franchise model of Consultancy Development Centre (CDC), Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a workshop on “Certificate Program in Technical Consultancy”. The objective of this workshop was to enhance the productivity of an organization and to expose the standards of technological evaluation, analysis and documentation.

During the workshop Mr. S. K. Lalwani, Head (Project), CDC talked about different courses like Master of Sciences (MS) in collaboration with BITS, Pilani and other eminent technical consultancies. Another speaker Mr. Narinder Gupta, Former ED, MECON Ltd. also expressed his ideas about technical consultancy, its types and relevant skills required for its promotion and development. Mr. Satish Sehta Sr. Manager, TCE Consulting Engineers Ltd. talked about the consultant –client relationship, professional services and other ethical issues related to the betterment of an organization.

An IT Expert and web specialist Mr. D.Vasudevan explained how to make a winning proposal for clients and also threw light on various methods of consultants’ selection. Through detailed presentation of Case studies, Mr. Sudhir Dhawan, Director Arthur Engineering Solutions Pvt. Ltd. and Mr. Sunil Soni, Director, Retail Banking & Insurance, Dell Services talked about a number of techniques of technical consultancy and project management.

Twenty one participants attended this workshop and they learnt different principles and executions for expanding the scope of technical consultancy. The workshop ended with certificate distribution by Hon’ble Principal Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad.
