VISIT - ALTTC

A team of five faculty members Prof. (Mrs.) A. N. Mahajan (ECE Deptt), Mr. Sumit Kumar (ECE Deptt), Mr. Chandrashekhar (ECE Deptt), Ms. Chandra Mukherjee (ECE Deptt ) and Mr. K. K. Singh (ECS Deptt ) from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited Advanced Level Telecom Training Centre (ALTTC), Ghaziabad on April 22nd, 2014. ALTTC is the apex training institute of BSNL. The objective of this visit was to conduct four weeks / six weeks Summer/Industrial (Vocational) Training Program for Students.

ALTTC was set up as a joint venture of International Telecommunication Union, Geneva, UNDP and the Government of India in 1975. Mr. A.K. Jha, faculty member of ALTTC spelled out the norms and other requisites for the training in the field of Digital Switching and IN; Mobile Communication: GSM, 3G, CDMA; Data communication and Information Technology: MPLS, VPN, Broadband, IPv6, Database Administration, Server Administration, IT Security; Optical Networks: SDH, DWDM, NGSDH, NGN, Access Networks, Management, Telecom Finance, Building Science (Civil and Electrical) and Telecom Network Planning etc.
