VANQUISH - 13

A four-day sports extravaganza “Vanquish 2013” was held at Global Institute of Technology (GIT), Jaipur from April 4th to 7th, 2013 with an aim to provide a National level platform for students to prove their excellence in the diverse fields of sports. The event was inaugurated by Mr. Ashok Kumar, a Gold Medal recipient in Marathon during ASIAD Games. More than 22 teams across the country participated in a number of events like Kabbadi, Volleyball, Football, Basketball, Table Tennis, Khokho, Chess, Badminton, Arm wrestling etc.

A volleyball team of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon under the captainship of Mr. Vivek Singh Adhana (Roll No. 13363) also participated in this annual Sports Competition and won the Gold Medal after defeating the volleyball team of GIT, Jaipur in final match. The winners were given away a trophy along with certificates of participation.

The sports competition Vanquish-13 witnessed a great success and exuberance which received overwhelming response and exhilaration of the participants as well spectators.
