APPLICATION OF COMPUTER SOFTWARE IN MATHEMATICAL MODELING

On 16th & 17th, May 2014 Dr. Jyoti Anand and Dr. Binay Kumar, Assistant Professor of Applied Sciences and Humanitiesdepartment from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a seminaron “Application of Computer software in Mathematical Modeling” organized by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University and School of Basic & Applied Sciencesat GGS Indraprastha University, New Delhi. The seminar was inaugurated by Dr. (Mrs.) Rashmi Bhardwaj, Associate Professor, USBAS, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIP), Keynote address given by Padma Shri Prof. P. K. Dave, Former Director, AIIMS and Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar awarded Hon’ble Vice chancellor Prof. Anil Kr. Tyagi, GGSIU. The Scientific Plenary discussion session was chaired by Prof. Kesari Lal Verma, Commission of Scientific and Technical Terminology, Department of Higher Education Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of Indiaand invited talk given by Prof. L. M. Saha, Department of Mathematics, IIIMIT, Shiv Nadar University. He orated about the “Study of Evolutionary Phenomena of Discrete Dynamical System”. This seminar covered all the branches of mathematics and the utilization of its application in diverse fields. The technical session ended with one hour Live Demonstration and Hands on Experience in Computer Lab.

On the second day the technical session was initiated with Inviting talk by Prof. M. K. Das, Director, Institute of Informatics & Communications, University of Delhi; South Campus on the topic “Mathematical Modeling in neurobioscienceusing Matlab”. The Valedictory function was addressed by Dr. Sarman Singh, Professor & Head of Clinical Microbiology, Department of Laboratory Medical Sciences, New Delhi. Chief Guest, Prof. Anil Kumar Tyagi, appreciated the Organisationfor their marvelous comportment.

Certificates were issued to all the participants by Chief Guest Prof. Anil Kumar Tyagi.
