TRAINING PROGRAM BY BEST KOKI AUTOMOTIVES PVT. LTD.
A training programme (2nd round) was organized on 26th September by Mechanical Engineering Deptt of the College for students of Vth Semester (2nd batch) in association with Best Koki Automotives Pvt. Ltd.
Forty-two students attended the training and they were exposed to Modern Production Technology and the skills required by industry. Mr. Marco Titz, Project Adviser; Best KOKI provided theoretical and practical training at DCE and their factory.
The training sessions covered various developments in modern production technology with specific reference to different methods of welding and use of robots.
Detailed lectures were delivered and concepts explained to the students on the following topics:
Metal Inert Gas Welding (MIG)
The students were taken around the factory where actual welding processes were carried out with the help of robots. The students welded two pieces of mild steel.
Use of very precise and expensive coordinate measuring equipment for quality control was shown.
