TRAINING PROGRAM BY BEST KOKI AUTOMOTIVES PVT. LTD.
A training programme was organized from 10th to 12th September 2014 by Mechanical Engineering Deptt of the College for students of Vth Semester 3rd batch in association with Best Koki Automotives Pvt. Ltd.
Forty-two students attended the training and they were exposed to Modern Production Technology and the skills required by industry. Mr. Marco Titz, Project Adviser; Best KOKI provided theoretical and practical training at DCE and their factory. Theoretical concepts were delivered on 10th September followed by practical at the factory on 12th September 2014.
The training sessions covered various developments in modern production technology with specific reference to different methods of welding and use of robots.
Detailed lectures were delivered and concepts explained to the students on the following topics:
Gas welding- mainly oxy-acetylene welding, equipment and welding techniques. Soldering and Brazing.
The students were taken around the factory where actual welding processes were carried out with the help of robots. The students welded two pieces of mild steel.
They were also explained how quality of the manufactured components is maintained.
