TRAINING PROGRAM BY BEST KOKI AUTOMOTIVES PVT.LTD.
A training programme was organized from 27th to 29th August 2014 by Mechanical Engineering Deptt of the College for students of Vth Semester in association with Best Koki Automotives Pvt. Ltd.
Forty-two students attended the training and they were exposed to Modern Production Technology and the skills required by industry. Mr. Marco Titz, Project Adviser; Best KOKI provided theoretical and practical training at DCE and their factory. Theoretical concepts were delivered on 27th August 2014 followed by practical at the factory on 29th August.
The training sessions covered various developments in modern production technology with specific reference to different methods of welding and use of robots.
Detailed lectures were delivered and concepts explained to the students on the following topics:
Various welding and allied processes.
Welding as compared to Riveting and Casting.
The students were taken around the factory where actual welding processes were carried out with the help of robots. The students practically welded two pieces of mild steel.
They were also explained how quality of the manufactured components is maintained.
