TECHNOBUZZ - 14

7th Oct 14 was IEEE DAY, a day when all the IEEE members worldwide share their excitement, visions and joys. DCE organized TECHNOBUZZ 14 wherein project and poster competitions held to celebrate the day with great enthusiasm. A plethora of new initiatives were established in the student branch, like innovative student projects and poster making on technical topics.

The event TECHNOBUZZ 14 was a platform which offered the young engineers a platform to judge their ability of fabricating projects using the basic engineering knowledge. The event commenced, by welcoming Mr. Ravi Aggarwal, GM, Dasoon Power Systems, Gurgaon and Execom member IEEE Delhi section as the Chief Guest of the function. He also released first IEEE quarterly e – Newsletter.

Mr. Ravi Aggarwal addressed the students on various topics which included IEEE forum, passion for career, professional etiquettes and sincerity in studies. Thereafter in the project competition, more than 30 students participated. Mr. Aggarwal judged the projects centered on robotics, wireless communication, digital communication etc.

The next event on this day was poster presentation. The theme given for making the poster was “3 G and 4 G Technology”. The objective was to enhance the creativity of the students in latest technology. A team of six faculty members judged the posters presented by students. TECHNOBUZZ 14 was a huge success with new milestones set.
