S/W TESTING

The department of Electronics and Computer Engineering (ECS) of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon conducted a seminar on “Automation and Manual Software Testing” on 7th August 2013 with an objective to make the students aware of the various opportunities in Software Testing Field.

Mr. Pulkit Garg, Sr. IT Quality Analyst, United Health Group, Gurgaon introduced a number of placement opportunities in the field of Software Testing. He shared reports of NASSCOM to prove the recent trends in industry which is focusing more on testingthan on development. Mr. Ankit Singhal, expert on SQL encouraged the students to take up projects relevant to their course of study. They gave a live demonstration on how databases work in companies.
