WOMEN IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

On 8th Mar,14 Prof. (Mrs.) A. N. Mahajan from Department of Electronics and communication engineering of Dronacharya college of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the Seminar on "Challenges and Opportunities for “Women in Science and Technology" at IETE Delton Hall, Lodhi Road New Delhi.

On the eve of International womens day, IETE conducted a seminar regarding CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR WOMEN IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY. Ms Rita Teotia Additional Secretary Sanchar Bhawan was chief guest for the seminar. The speakers elucidated that support from family members and workplace plays vital role in increasing Women’s efficiency. The concept of flexible working hours for the women was also conversed.

The seminar culminated with the prize distribution to some of the female staff members working in IETE for their contribution.
