BENTLEY ACADEMIC BUNDLE

Civil Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a one day presentation “Bentley Academic Bundle”, on 30th January 2015 for Vth & VIth Semester students. Mr. Ranjeet Singh, Marketing Executive from CETPA Infotech Private Ltd. and Mr. Rakesh Barthwal, Marketing department from Advance Educare Training Pvt. Ltd. gave presentations on Bentley Academic Bundle.

This academic program included a variety of software details with their purpose as follows:

1. Structural Solution for Structural Engineering.

2. Water and Wastewater for Environmental/Water Resource Management Engineering.

3. Transportation for Civil Engineering.

In Structural Solution for Structural Engineering students were introduced to STAAD PRO, a professional’s choice for steel. Concrete, timber, aluminum and cold formed steel design of virtually any structure including convents, petrochemical plants, tunnels, bridges, piles and much more. Then discussions were made on STAAD FOUNDATION ADVANCED, which is a comprehensive foundation design program that offers the ability to model complex or simple footings. STAAD GLOBAL DESIGN CODE provides flexible modeling by a state-of-the-art graphical environment and the design supports over 70 international codes and over 20 U.S. codes in 7 languages.

Mr. Rakesh Barthwal highlighted on SEWERGEMS, the only sanitary and combined sewer model with stand-alone, ArcGIS, and MicroStation interoperability, and two built-in dynamic engines for accuracy and compliance. STORMCAD provides comprehensive modeling for the design and analysis of storm sewer systems. He then lectured on CIVILSTORM an accurate model every aspect of storm water system including rainfall, runoff, inlet capture and bypass, gravity and pressure piping, detention ponds, outlet structures, open channels, culverts, and more.

Mr. Ranjeet Singh featured about BENTLEY MXROAD V8I SUIT. It combines all of the power of MXROAD (an advanced, string-based modeling tool for new design of all road types) together with Power Survey (an all-in-one, standalone survey solution), MXRENEW (a complimentary solution that fits new design onto existing roads for rehabilitation and reconstruction), and MXURBAN (parametric design software for roads in cities and urban areas). BENTLEY POWER CIVIL FOR COUNTRY gives engineers the flexibility to work the way they want with the power they need to complete their infrastructure projects.
