NI SEMINAR

To discuss how latest technologies can be used for enhancing student learning and research in the fields of RF and Wireless Communications, a Seminar on RF and wireless Communications was held at Hans Hotel ,Connaught Place, New Delhi on 6th December 2014. Ms. Sarita from Computer Science Engineering Department represented Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon.

Mr. Karun Jain, Sr. Academic Technical Consultant, NI, was the speaker of the Seminar. He discussed about FPGA based RF and Microwave hardware along with LabVIEW and AWR RF Simulation software that provides an integrated platform to implement various applications like Software Defined Radio, RF Circuit Simulation, Hardware in Loop Testing, MIMO Transmitter & Receiver, and Channel Emulation.

The Highlights for the Seminar was introduction to PXI based RF hardware and FPGA based RF, RF Circuit Design to Test: RF Circuit Simulation, RF Circuit + LabVIEW Co-Simulation, Hardware-In-Loop Testing, RF Component/System Characterization Testing, Software Defined Radio/Wireless Standard Prototyping and Testing: Cognitive Radio, MIMO Transmitter/Receiver, Channel Emulation, Wireless device testing and measurements.
