INDUSTRIAL VISIT

CSI Student Chapter of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized an industrial visit to Networkers Guru, Gurgaon on 13th October 2016. Twenty nine students from CSE Department along with Mr. Amar Saraswat, Assistant Professor, CSE Department went to Networkers Guru.

Networkers Guru is the winner of “Best Cisco Networking Organization in Gurgaon, Delhi NCR - India from 2009 to 2011 by Times Research Group.

The next session was conducted by Mr. Abhishek, Education Channel Manager, Siemens Industry Software (India) Co, Ltd. He said that holistic development of students and teachers are only possible by bridging the gap between Industry & Institute.

The introduction session was conducted by Mr. Nitin Vashisht, Senior Technical Trainer at Networkers Guru. During the session the major edge of networking over other fields was discussed with a brief about the networking terminologies and the aspects of resolving major networking issues. Later the scopes of networking within a region and beyond were talked upon. Also, the overseas networking was taken into consideration. The emerging need of good network engineers and the manifold rising competition in the arena was also deliberated. Mr. Vashisht also shared his experience in the field and how he grew and gained immense knowledge about the subject.

After the session, a lab visit was conducted where the students were made familiar with the networking devices, how they are used, and different kinds of devices is being used. The detailed working and processing was also discussed by Mr. Vashisht. The students were allowed to examine the devices thoroughly and their doubts were looked upon.

Later a query session was conducted, where the questions of all students were taken and answered with precision. It was a very interactive session.

At the end, students got a chance to interact with other members of the Networkers Guru team. It was a great and enlightening experience for the students as it helped them to figure out about the various options available to them.
