ICECIT-2013

Two Faculty members Mr. Sunil Kumar and Ms. Deepti Chahar from Electronics & Communication Engineering represented Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon in two-day International Conference on “Electronics & Communication and Information Technology” organized by Thapar University, Patiala, Punjab on 4-5 October, 2013. It’s objective was to provide a platform for sharing research work. The conference was organised in collaboration with Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO) and National Project Implementation Unit of Human Resource Development Ministry wing, for implementation of World Bank-assisted projects in technical education.

Ltd, Noida; Dr. Al-Sakib Khan, Faculty at CSE department in International Islamic University, Malaysia;  Dr. Vinay Kumar, Research Scientist at UC3M Madrid, Spain; Mr. Navneet Kataria, Engineering Application Support, ANRITSU India Pvt. Ltd; Dr. Sudarshan Iyengar, Faculty, Department of CSE, IIT Ropar; Dr. Rajiv Saxena, Professor and Head, Jaypee University of Engineering & Technology, Guna; Dr. Amod, Chief Scientist, Bio Medical Instrumentation Unit, CSIR, Chandigarh; Dr. Sneh Anand, Professor, Center for Bio Medical Engineering, IIT Delhi; Dr. S. S. Pattnaik , Professor, NITTTR, Chandigarh and Dr. KanhiyaLal  (CEO), Sahajanand LASER Technology Ltd, enlightened the participants on a number of technical concepts related to  3G and 4G Communication services, Adhoc-networks, sonar signal processing, optical communication, satellite and space communication, mechatronics, wireless communication, NANO CMOS technology, digital image processing and many more.

During the two-day event, a total of 111 research papers were presented. Ms. Deepti Chahar and Mr. Sunil, Faculty members  Department of ECE, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon  presented paper on “Microstrip Patch Antenna with H-shaped DGS and Improved Bandwidth”  and “Performance analysis of single point and multi point restricted crossover scheme in the design of a neuro–genetic pattern classification” respectively.

The conference ended with distribution of certificates.
