FUTURE TRENDS

Twenty Two students from VII Semester, Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a two- day National Conference on “Future Trends in Mobile Communication” organized by Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad on 20th-21st September, 2013.

The objective of this conference was toprovide an ideal platform for students and faculty of engineering colleges to update themselves with the recent technological developments and strategies in the area of Mobile communication like architecture of 2G to 4G, maintenance of BTS and optimization, hacking of emails, ATM passwords and credit cards, LTE & HSDPA etc.

The program was inaugurated by Prof. P. K. Chopra, Head of Department, ECE from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad. He shared his views about radiations and its aftermath in mobile communication.

The key speakers from Advanced Level Telecommunication Training Centre (ALTTC) BSNL India, Mr. Ashish Tayal, Addl. GM (Mobile); Mr. Abhay Gupta, Divisional Engineer (Mobile); Mr. Sanjay Kumar, Sub Divisional Engineer (GSM); Mr. Vikas Nigam, Sub Divisional Engineer (3G); Mr. B. C Joshi, Divisional Engineer (Mobile-Access)andMr. Sanjay Kumar Gupta, Sub Divisional Engineer (Mobile-Access) enlightenedthe participants on “Mobile Network Optimization Challenges”, “Security Issues in Mobile Network Operations; “Mobile Communication Deployment and Spectrum Issues” and “Emerging Novel Applications in Mobile Communication”.

The workshop was beneficial for the attendees as it gave them an exposure on various practical issues to handle mobile, security issues and future generation trends. The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Ranjit Singh from Ajay Kumar Garg Engineering College, Ghaziabad.
