EXPO - 2014

Prof. (Dr.) H.S. Dua, Head, Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited the Electronics For You Expo-2014 on 22nd February, 2014 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.

Inaugurating the expo, Mr. J Satya Naryanana, Secretary, Deptt. of Electronics and Information Technology (DEITY) shared that EFY expo was meant to create a platform where the innovative design engineers and implementation engineers can mingle with manufacturers, traders and institutional buyers so as to bridge the gap between industry and the government. Other distinguished speakers also enlightened the attendees on the technical aspects of LED Lighting, Embedded &VLSI System.

The expo was held in two-days i.e 21st- 22nd February, 2014 where Companies manufacturing LED lightning, cables, stabilisers, power supplies, electronics measuring instruments and test equipment including spectrum analysers etc. had put up their products on display. Other products on display included surface mountable electronic components, semiconductors, protection devices, switches, thermal printers, GPS modules, digital displays, solid state amplifiers and RF modules etc.

A memorandum of understanding (MOU) between Electronics For You and Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon was also signed with an objective to train the students on selected EFY courses and provide practical exposure.

The visit and interaction with different academics, experts and technocrats was useful and informative.
