TALK BY CO-FOUNDER OF CAREER LAUNCHER

A talk by Mr. Gautam Puri known as the “aptitude guru”, co-founder of Career Launcher on “GPkaFunda” was organized by DPS, Sushantlok, Gurgaon on 1st March, 2015. There was a gathering of around 80 students which included students of final year and pre-final year as well. Students from various colleges attended the workshop. Eight students from Computer Science & Engineering Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended the event.

The talk was started by the brief introduction from Mr. Gautam Puri. It was further followed by the presentations. “GP kaFunda” workshop threw a light on aptitude testing. GP’s blog is followed by students and mentors alike. GP blogs on diverse issues related to aptitude tests such as test-taking strategy, exam pattern, his experience while attempting CL Mock CAT’s etc. He showed the way to solve multiple choice questions (MCQ’s) in a unique way.

Further he explained about the preparation to get into top colleges of business such as IIM, IIFM, AIMS, PGDM to pursue MBA. The presentation given by Mr. Puri threw a light on cracking CAT, GMAT exams which included its preparation, integrated reasoning, analytical reasoning and the study tips. Students learn about many things related to CAT, GMAT exams, how to prepare for it, does it require any coaching, how many hours should a student spend a day preparing for CAT.

The talk concluded by giving students access to previous years mock papers used @CAT ka BIG Boss previously.
