SEMINAR MATLAB

Seven faculty members  Mr. Sunil Kumar, Mr. Harimohan Rai, Mrs. Dimple Saproo, Mrs. Amninder kaur, Mr. Chandershekhar Singh, Mrs. Seema Das , Mrs. Monika Thakur and three Lab Instructors Mr. Yoginder, Mr. Vijay  and Ms. Monika Dagar from Electronics & Communication Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended one day seminar on “Teaching Control System Concepts using MATLAB and Simulink” conducted by  Math Works (leading developer of mathematical computing software) at The Hans, New Delhi on 23 April 2014.

The objective of this seminar was to discuss teaching engineering fundamentals using MATLAB & Simulink; System Identification & Neural Network Based System Modelling Techniques; Control System Design and Analysis using Matlab 2014; Enabling Project-Based Learning with MATLAB, Simulink, and Low Cost Hardware; Two Wheel Balancing Robot using LEGO NXT etc.

The seminar was relevant as the participants learnt about Control System Toolbox, MATLAB 2014, Simscape etc. Besides these they also got an elbowroom to understand and recognize various research activities in the field of IC Design and Device Modelling.
