WORKSHOP

A National Level Workshop “QUAD TORC-2017” based on ATV design challenge, was conducted by Mechanical Dept. of OIST, Bhopal in collaboration of Indian Society of New Era Engineers and team Brotherhood Racing Club (BRC) on 21st & 22nd March, 2017.

A team of three students namely, Rahul Sehrawat (18393), Nitesh Rana (18385), Rishav Yadav (18400) from Mechanical Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in the workshop to gain knowledge related to the projects.

The Workshop was conducted by Mr. Sangha Mitra (Project Officer ISNEE), Mr. Sachin Kalyane (Manufacturing Head ISNEE) and Mr. Mohd. Azhar (BAJA India). The instructors shared their information and experience with the students in order to clear their doubts. The students were informed about the different departments in manufacturing of a vehicle. They were taught to how to calculate different parameters required in different departments (i.e. Technical part and Marketing part) of the manufacturing of a vehicle. Further they were informed in detail about Steering, Suspension, Braking, Wheel assembly, Design, Power Train, Fitment Analysis and Damper position.

It was a great experience for the students to attend the workshop as they were provided the useful information which can make them industry ready.
