PEARSON’S BUSINESS CONFERENCE

Two faculty Ms. Sarita, from CSE Department and Mrs. Megha Goel from IT Department, Dronacharya College of Engineering attended a Pearson’s Business Conference on "International Alliance Partnerships for Indian Institutions" held at The Royal Plaza Hotel, New Delhi on 28th February 2015.

This conference was to explore opportunities to partner with Pearson and its affiliates. A partnership, which enables institutions, recruits students from different geographical areas and provides global exposure to existing students through international progressions.

Conference started with registration process. Professor Emeritus David Faulkner (Chairman and founder of Universal Business School (UBS) Oxford took the first session and spoke about International Programmes and pearson Qualifications. He briefed about UBS, Oxford integrated MBA program and UBS fellowship Programmes.

Second session was taken by Mr. Dishant Kharbanda (Managing Director UBS, oxford) who discussed about pearson progression partnership to recruit international and domestic students. Session ended with Question and Answer round.

Last session concluded by Mr. Anant Nepalia (Director-International Relations) who discussed with us about the benefits of higher studies for Engineering students.

Overall, this conference provides an opportunity to get overall view about Pearson as a progression partner and unlock the global potential for institution.
