COMPUTER NETWORK AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

A two day international conference on “Computer Network and Information Technology ” was orchestrated by NITTTR Chandigarh on 20th& 21st  Mar 14. On the very first day there was inauguration ceremony. The organizer of the conference Mrs. Maitreyee Dutta welcomed all the participants on behalf of NITTTR. Prof. R. Sadananda, Incharge of Computer Science & Information Management programs, School of Advanced Technology, Asian Institute of Technology Klonglaung, Thailand, was the chief guest and key note speaker of the first technical session. The theme of session was “Wireless Networks”.

In this session,  Mrs. Monika Thakur and Mrs. Madhu Bala, Assistant Professor from ECE Dept. of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon had presented paper Shaping future wireless networks architecture with the application SON automation technology in Information Engineering. The theme of technical session-II was “Image Processing”. The key note speaker was Prof. Sumantra Dutta Roy. He highlighted various technical and practical aspects of  3D image processing.  12 papers were presented by the participants during this session.

On the second day, the theme of technical session-I was “Security”. Dr. R.K. Shyamasundar, Faculty of Technology and Computer Science, Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai was the chairperson. Technical session-II and technical Session-III were of “Distributed Computing” and “Software Engineering, Web Technologies and Data Mining” respectively. Dr. S Chatterjeerel inquished the talk on distributed computing. The chairperson was Prof. K.K Saini from Dronacharya college of Engineering, Gurgaon. Prof. K.K Saini had relinquished a invited talk on “Chaos in Electrical & Electronics System.”

The Chief Guest of valedictory session Dr.M.P. Poonia, Director of NITTTR, issued the certificates to all participants and organizing committee members of the conference. At the end, there was a panel discussion program & feedback was taken from all the participants.
