INTER COLLEGE IT - QUIZ 2017

Computer Society of India (CSI) organized a Inter College IT-Quiz at Jagan Institute of Management Studies (JIMS), Rohini on 28th January 2017 as a medium for engendering awareness among the youth about the recent advances in the technological fields. Four Students named as Bhumika Chugh (Roll no. 18038), Abhishek Mishra (Roll no. 18005), Divyansh Chauhan (Roll No. 18056) and Harshita Singh (Roll No. 19063) of CSE Department from Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in the quiz competition.

Prof. VB Aggarwal, Dean InfoTech JIMS, Rohini, New Delhi inaugurated the contest and expressed the need for IT professionals in the respective progressive sector. On this occasion the Chief Guest Dr. Anuj Aggarwal, Chairman of Centre for Research on Cyber Security and Cyber Law. He took an interactive session on Cyber Security for the participants.

The Guests of Honors were Shri. PK Aneja Chairman CSI, Ms. Ankita Chopra, Dr. AK Bansal and Shri Manoj Sethi, Vice Chairman CSI.

Mr. Ajay Poonia who is an international personality was the quiz master. There were 35 teams in total from different colleges like DTU New Delhi, Maharaja Surajmal Institute, Dronacharya Group of Institutions, Greater Noida (DGI), OSOL (Delhi University) and many more. A prelims round was facilitated for short listing of final teams and then final quiz took place which comprised four rounds in total.

All the participants were given certificate of appreciation by JIMS, Rohini.
