The Department of Information Technology is organising a One-day workshop on “Computer Literacy & basis knowledge of MS-Office”, which is scheduled for 26th July 2013.

Objectives :

Information technology is the field which is touching each and everyone’s life. The use of information technology is immense in all the fields of industry. In today’s world, all of us are using computer but still lacks the basis computer knowledge, which affects our computer’s performance and as a result our computers become slow and more vulnerable.

Microsoft office is a platform, which is useful for all. The importance of Microsoft office is immense for our non-teaching staff as using this they can maintain their data in more proficient manner and this organised data can help them to submit the required reports in proper format. By completing the assigned task efficiently & timely, non-teaching staff can became a vital part of the department and helps us to raise the bar of the department’s performance. By getting familiarize with this type of tool they can become a better asset for the department.

The general aim of the workshop is to provide a platform to the academicians and the non-teaching staff, in particular, to deliberate upon the various aspects of Computer Skills.

I am pleased to put on record my thanks and gratitude to all the HODs for the cooperation extended by them. I also request them to send maximum persons from their department to take benefit from this workshop. Please ask the interested participants to reach new lab IT at 10:00 A.M.

It is confidently believed that present Workshop will definitely serve the purpose and achieve the desired target as envisaged by our worthy Principal.
