IIT Bombay will be organizing an ISTE main workshop by Prof. Sahana Murthy and Prof. Sridhar Iyer on “Pedagogy for effective use of ICT in Engineering Education”, scheduled during 05th Jan 2014- 07th Jan 2014 and 19th Jan 2014 – 21st Jan 2014. The ‘Workshop Coordinators Workshop’ was organized on 25th November 2014 for half day from 02:30 P.M. – 05:30 P.M. through A-View.

Prof. (Dr.) Jitender Kumar, being the Remote Center Coordinator, has been nominated as Workshop Coordinator for Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon (RC ID-1299). During the half day workshop course contents of the workshop were discussed in detail. It was decided that the faculty members of all engineering courses, MCA & any other technical departments can attend this workshop.

The workshop will be conducted in both online and offline mode. Six days face to face interaction will take place and rest of the time participants will be working on various assignments given by the faculty concerned.

Number of participants were also discussed in detail, it was decided that minimum 30 participants will be attending the workshop from one remote center. Aakash tablets will also be used during the workshop for submitting the quiz. Prof. Mukta Atrey also interacted with the workshop coordinators. Registration process for the workshop will start from the first week of December and one consolidated nomination letter can be submitted for five-six participants. A new tool Wiki will be used in the workshop for enhanced learning.
