On 5th April 2014, a group of twenty nine students from Information Technology Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited to Huawei Telecommunications India Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon. The purpose of this Industrial visit was to make the students conversant with various networking concepts like Wireless Telecom (2G/3G/4G), IP - Datacom (Routers, switches, Security & Firewall), Networks (Access, Optix, & Microwave) & Cloud Computing.

Huawei is global ICT leader in Information & Communication Technology with annual revenue of more than 35B USD and operations in more than 200 countries. Indovision Services Pvt. Ltd. is Premier Training partner of Huawei. The Company is focused to provide Technical trainings to Corporate & Engineering students besides consultancy and Network Rollout & System Integration services.

Mr. Vinay Agarwal, Indovision Services Private Limited explained that ICT and Telecom Industry is on a cross road facing different set of challenges that stem from ever challenging technology trends and customer expectations. The convergence of applications, devices, networks and content in this new-age information super highway has become the next path-breaking move in core mass-market technology providing single connectivity and integrated user experience.

They students also acquired skills required for ICT industry entry level knowledge. Core Network (CS, PS, IMS) Transmission Network, IP- Data Communication Network, Cloud Computing Fundamentals, Wireless Broadband Access (MBB/ LTE/ WIFI) etc.

The visit was useful to the students as they learnt about various advance networking concepts.
