Report on “ EMC Forum-2014”
 

Ms. Megha Goel, Associate Professor & Mr. Amitesh Kumar, Assistant Professor from Information Technology department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a one-day workshop on “EMC Forum-2014” at Hotel J W Marriott, Aerocity New Delhi on 10th October 2014.

 

The EMC Forum 2014 is an innovative format to Redefine IT and Business to a Software Defined Enterprise. EMC continues to lead the market by delivering innovative storage solutions for cloud, virtualizations, files and applications.

 

The Session Started with the speech of Mr. Rajesh Janey, President, India & SAARC, EMC Corporation. He discussed the emerging trends which are fundamentally changing the way to business. His analysis on third generation was extremely impressive. How the IT Industry changing from traditional way to automation. Another Keynote Speaker was Mr. David Webster, President, Asia Pacific & Japan, Senior Vice President, EMC Corporation. He shared his view on the current key requirement of the IT Industry such as Redefine Data Storage, Hybrid Cloud and most importantly data protection.

 

Then speakers from EMC having different specializations shared their views on how the technologies are changing for software enterprises for different areas in current scenario e.g. Hybrid Cloud, Data Center &Virtualization and Data Protection. In the last session eminent novelist Mr. Chetan Bhagat delivered a very fine speech. His talk was really motivational and inspirational.
