The ISTE Student Chapter of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized an industrial visit to KR Network Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Delhi on 9th October 2015. Mrs. Poonam Yadav (Assistant Professor, ECS Dept.) along with 33 students from ECS, CSE and IT Departments visited the company.

The motive of this industrial visit was to give the students a brief understanding of networking and operating it on cloud.

KR Network Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd.is one of the leading IT Technologies Training Centre that provides hand-on practical training to corporate professionals with real time projects that helps them to pass the vendor based certification exams, which build confidence and assist individuals to apply for a job in the IT industry.

Mr. Krishna Jeevan Upadhyay (Director, KR Network Cloud Technologies Pvt. Ltd.) briefed the students about KR Centre and the programmes offered by them. He made the students aware regarding the current needs of industry and role of networking in industries required for communication. He demonstrated the types of training which they provide and the certifications like Red Hat, CISCO etc. He explained about the advanced courses describing all the levels of certifications such as CCNA, CCNA Security, CCNP in CISCO and RCHSA, RHCE and RCSA in Red Hat. The centre also conducted various training sessions indoor and outdoor to train the fresher’s hired by an industry so that they can work on the particular technology. He described the students regarding the different operating systems that we have used in past and present with their features by giving suitable example of each with their configurations. The session provided the students with hands on training on different technologies used in the area of networking and how to operate this technology on cloud that makes it convenient to use for communication.

It was very educative experience for the students. The visit helped them to learn about the present industry scenario and its demands. The session was very knowledgeable and the students got the opportunity to see live demonstrations of different technologies used in networking. The experts from the industry motivated the students to learn and enhance their technical skills.
