Prof. B.M.K Prasad Attended a program of Industry IT Summit 2014 on Technology- A Catalyst in Driving Growth in Indian Industry from 16-17 April’ 2014 at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi. It was organized by Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). In his opening address, Mr. Bhaskar Parmanik, Chairman, Microsoft Corporation (India) Pvt. Ltd. disclosed that Indian IT Industry has a unique opportunity for overall growth. Technology can play an significant rolealong with its business model for economic growth of the country. Mr. BhaskarParmanik who is also Chairman, CII National Committee on IT, ITeS and e Commerce gave stress on the need for colossal role with five year grand design to adopt which play an important wedge. |
Mr. Neil Wilson, Executive Director and Partner Price Waterhouse, Coopers India said in theme address that this is the right time to accept the challenges to transform the concert with emerging and integrating technology. |
Mr. SD Shibulal, Managing Director and CEO Infosys Ltd., in his special address said that IT Industry has tremendous growth with manufacturing in global level along with these services across the world. He suggested to adopt the technology which our society allows us and acquisitionof technology is important for growth of IT Indian Communication system for competitive advantages. |
Mr. Shibulal also suggested to think about the product, velocity of the business, its clear application, applying the technology, e-thinking and mind set for innovative solution, technology adoption, tremendous improvement in technology, the market value so that the industry can be benefitted. IT- Industry is creating employment & has ability to create a lot more employment. |
Mr. Arun Maira, Member Planning Commission, Govt. of India in his Inaugural Address focused on manufacturing companies which should be to act as resource for the people of the country. He narrated the story of Japan as to how through their evolvement to create the resource for the requirement, they are committed to give the best output. In Japan as well as in USA people from Industries and Companies are taking care for customer in the design of product and mass level production system. They always take steps for product of the varieties, for manufacturing processes, thinking to take more ideas to create more scope on high scale for healthy ecosystem with big units and also taking care for the cost of the product, the material in use, the processes adopted with lot of technology, use of technology, architecture and the network. He also suggested for acquisition and to follow the role of Government of India with rapid learning and changing process. For doing good business it is also required to know the labor law and regulation. Indian IT-Industry needs to help us and focus on regulation, innovation and design. He also suggested to always think about New causation Technology with the comments and guidance of the area experts. |
Mr. CN Raghupathi , Chairman CII Sub - Committee on IT for Domestic Industry and Head- India Business and Vice President Infosys Ltd. said that the technology in existence should be service oriented, agriculture oriented and more efficient with digital enterprise so that IT-Industry improve the productivity with a guarantee for future job and relevant infrastructure for manufacturing growth. |
In the next several sessions during IT-Summit many other eminent speakers emphasized over low cost and high quality, total business strategies with commitment, safety conservation, emerging technology, mobile application, methodology with broadband virtualization, their basic needs to be tethered very fast with the digital world, cloud delivery with public and private sectors and also their characterization for broadband, mobility and cloud should be efficient with price, cost, quality and transferring data. |
They also gave the stress over global manufacturing sector, connection relation, traditional ERP with crowd source ideas, Research and Development scenario, social channel, social work within the security, social media with computer data, structure data, internal focus and external focus. |
