IEEE NATIONAL CONFERENCE

On 4th April 2014, three students Anmol Goyal ( Roll No. 15144), Arfa Quamar ( Roll No. 15147) and Ashish Sharma (Roll No. 15153) from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon presented a paper in IEEE National Conference on "Signal Processing in Engineering and Technology" organised by PDM College of Engineering, Bahadurgarh.

The paper was written on the theme of “The role of ZigBee technology in future Data Communication System”. The students explained that the ZigBee Alliance targets applications across consumer, commercial, industrial and government markets worldwide. Unwired applications are highly sought after in many networks that are characterized by numerous nodes consuming minimum power and enjoying long battery lives. ZigBee technology is designed to best suit these applications, for the reason that it enables reduced costs of development and very fast market adoption.

The students from DCE, Gurgaon were conferred the FIRST PRIZE in this IEEE paper presentation competition.
