On 12th August 2014, a group of 38 students from Electronics & Computer Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited Honda Cars India Limited, Plant 1-Greater Noida along with two faculty coordinators Mr. K. K. Singh and Mrs. Akanksha Kulshreshtha .
The objective of this visit was to make the students well- acquainted with the practical aspects of technology particularly assembly, wielding and painting sections.
During the introductory lecture Mr. D. P. Suman from the HR Department of Honda Cars India Ltd. briefed about Mr. Soichiro Honda, the founder of Honda . His lecture was followed by a presentation on the products launched by the industry from 1947 to till today.
The technical experts shared their experiences and explained the mechanism behind painting, welding and basics of assembly of car parts. The students also visited production section as well.
The visit concluded with the presentation on the evolution of Honda, which included their production, their features, their associates, their mythology, their interest and also about ambience of their industry.
