BEST ENGINEERING PROJECT COMPETITION 2014

Faridabad Industry Association (FIA) started "The Young Entrepreneurs Panel" in 2005,  consisting of CEO’s of various industries with the objective to start a scheme to have final year engineering projects competitions of various Faridabad Colleges (FET-MRIU, MRCE, APJ, SRCEM, DCE, BSA, AL-FALAH). The shortlisted projects are judged by industries expert of respective fields for best project award. This promotes the students to excel in their fields.

Shortlisted projects for presentation took place on 26th April 2014. Various engineering colleges of Haryana region like Dronacharya College of Engineering, Manav Rachna University, Lingaya’s University, ApeejayStya University participated in this project competition. Projects like Human Follower, Maze Follower, Smart Skull, 3E Transformer, Automatic locking and Unlocking of theft vehicle using CAN(Control Area Network), Speed Synchronization of multiple motors in Industries, Gesture Controlled serving Quad Copter from Electrical & Electronics Stream and projects like DigiBuzz, Automated Parking System, Smart Shopping, Attendance Management System, Industry Specific Retailing on SAP, Floating Display, Virtual Learning .

FIA has organized the Award ceremony for BEST Engineering project competition 2014 on 9th May 2014. Dr. SK. Goel-Managing Director-Star Wires was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Mr. Shailendra Kapoor, Director FIA was also present in this award ceremony.

The “Floating Display” project from Information Technology Department grabbed the First position in the Computer Science & Information Technology category. This project was developed by Ms. Parul Bhardwaj, Mr. Saurabh Singh and Ms. Ritu Gautam.

The "3E(Eco friendly, Economic, Efficient)” project from Electronics & Communication Engineering  grabbed the Second position in the Electrical & Electronics category. This project was developed by Mr. Mohit Sharma, Mr. Manish Saini & Mr. Kulshreshta.
