Students were divided in two groups after the presentation and they visited the manufacturing units and R&D labs. Mr. Kulshandra, Engineer elaborated the process of designing of Printed Circuit Board, PCB used to connect electronic components. Then he briefed students about the components used to make PCB including Metal Core PCB’s with their applications and discussed the two types of machines which were used to place the components on PCB board. He also discussed the six levels of integration including PCB Design, PCB Fabrication, PCB assembly, Testing and Programming, Cable Assembly and Box Builds. Mr. Shubham, Engineer discussed the working of the Programmable Logic Controller, (PLC) that it is a digital computer used for automation in industrial electromechanical processes. PLCs are designed for multiple arrangements of digital and analog inputs and outputs, extended temperature ranges, immunity to electrical noise, and resistance to vibration and impact. |
