On 20th August 2014, a team of 5 students Akansha Marwah (Roll No. 16762), Amit Saini (Roll No. 16763), Deepanshu Bansal (Roll No. 16766), Monica Godara (Roll No. 16768) and Shweta Saini (Roll No. 16773)) and two faculty members Ms. Parul Bansal and Ms. Poonam Yadav, from Electronics and Computer Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a lecture on topic "Ultra-low power wireless body sensor network for smart bio-signals monitoring systems" organized by IEEE (Circuits and System-Control society) at IIT-Delhi.

The expert Dr. David Atienza, Professor of EE and the Head of Embedded System Laboratory (ESL) at EPFL, Switzerland shared different applications of wireless body sensor network (WBSN).

He also gave examples related to pilot monitoring system and sheep monitoring system that help the researchers to find out the stress levels of pilots and also useful in analyzing ECG monitoring application in real life.

The lecture was informative and useful to the participants.
