Department of Information Technology organized a one day Exclusive Oracle University Event- "Jump Start to Oracle Certification" in association with Oracle University on 24th September 2014. The session was attended by the students of Information Technology, Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & Computer Science.

Mr. Raja Das Gupta, Head - Workforce Development Program & Certification at Oracle, is having 15 years plus of experience in Education Sector with special focus on Academia, Institutional Alliances and Skill Development. He addressed the students about the importance of certifications in a student’s career path. He discussed about different tracks in oracle certification and how students can become more employable than others who have no professional certifications
