The objective of the seminar was to create consciousness about environment and to discuss some significant measures to be adapted for making India cleaner and Greener. Inaugurating the seminar Hon’ble Principal Prof. (Dr.) B.M.K. Prasad expressed that presently India is struggling with skyrocketing energy demands, declining energy supplies, and peak load blackouts and shortages that limit energy access. Talking about its importance he stated that Green power, renewable power and conservation of energy are more efficient solutions for creating better future. He further stated that Sun is one of the most popular sources for renewable energy. The energy captured from the sun, through solar panels, can be easily converted to electrical energy. Wind energy, Windmills, Water can also be used as a source for alternative power. |
