DECLAMATION CONTEST

On 29th December 2016, two students Garima Gauba (19050) and Anubhav Sharma (19491) from Applied Sciences & Humanities Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon participated in the Declamation Contest held at Nehru Yuva Kendra, Gurgaon. The Contest was organised by Nehru Yuva Kendra Gurgaon under the guidance of Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India, New Delhi on Patriotism and Nation Building as a part of Republic Day Celebration 2017.

The main objective of the contest was to strengthen the spirit of Nationalism and Patriotic feeling amongst youth and masses for enhanced participation in nation building.

The students of DCE, Gurgaon enthusiastically participated in the contest and exhibited their art of public speaking which was appreciated by the audience and the jury members.

Declamation contest provided the participants an opportunity to exhibit their presentation skills and art of speaking in public and created the desired environment among the entire youth community by sparking healthy positive conversation among youth in India. It also facilitated them to develop and refine their leadership qualities. It created very positive environment and opened vistas for healthy debate on Patriotism & Nation building thus inculcating the spirit of Patriotism and Nationalism amongst the youth.
