Two faculty members Dr. Sunil Mishra and Dr. Parul Mishra  from Applied Sciences & Humanities Departmentof Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon  jointly  presented a paper titled “Strategies of Acquiring English Language Skills Through Literature” in a two-day  National Seminar cum Workshop on “the Role of English Language & Literature for Promoting Education in the Present Scenario’ ’orchestrated by Department of Humanities, University Polytechnic, Teerthankar Mahaveer University, Moradabad from 12 to 13 April 2014.

During the presentation they elucidated that language coincides a particular set of aesthetic factors—phonetic, rhythmic, symbolic, morphological whereas  literature could be said to be rich or poor depending upon the factors--correctness of the language, its collective art and with thoughtful expressions in which the particular literature was  created.

The National Seminar cum Workshop was relevant to the scholars of English literature and language.
