The seminar was organized under the prestigious patronage of Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Principal, under the Chairmanship of Prof. Onkar Singh, Dean Academics and under the Convenership of Prof. D. This significant seminar was organized to bring distinguished academicians and R & D professionals from Industries and Research Organizations on to a common platform for sharing their experiences, ideas and views pertaining to the theme of the Seminar. Mechanical Engineering, an all embracing and the broadest of all Engineering disciplines, deals with design and production of tools, machines and all other mechanical equipments to be used in industries. This is an ever evolving discipline to cater to the kaleidoscopically changing needs of both manufacturing and service organizations. The objective of the Seminar was to acquaint Faculty members, budding Engineers and Scientists to update their knowledge regarding advances made in this discipline. This also helped them to enhance their confidence in dealing with the intricacies of the subject as such.

So to say, this one day seminar was aimed at fostering synergic partnership between industry, engineering institutions and other related agencies. A considerable number of participants from within the Campus and from across the State made their presence felt. A few Papers of vital importance were presented at the Conference making it an academically enriching, rewarding and memorable event.
