ETCT seminar was held on 24th - 25th July, 2009 at DCE’s Farrukh Nagar (Gurgaon) Campus. AVM G. P. S Dua was the hon’ble chief guest. The Seminar was organized under the patronage of Prof. (Dr.) B. M. K. Prasad, Principal under the convenership of Prof. Onkar Singh, Dean Academics and Co-convenership of Prof. H. S. Dua, HOD (ECE). Prof. Y. P. Chopra was the co-ordinator. The organizing committee comprised of Prof. Mrs. A. N. Mahajan, Mr. P. Patnaik (Asst. Prof.), Mr. Vinay Nassa (Asstt. Prof.) and Mr. Karam Singh (Lecturer). The primary objective of the seminar was to bring together on common platform experts from academic Institutions, Industries and Research & Development organizations. Furthermore, the Seminar facilitated exchange of views and dissemination of knowledge on issues of current interest in the field of communication.

Besides this, the Seminar included Guest talks of celebrities from academia and industries. The major topics covered during the conference were of divergent interests as: Wireless Communication, Mobile Communication, Communication Network, Optical Communication, Network Security, Nanotechnology Applications in Communication and Software defined Radios. Faculty members from the campus itself and several members of Institutions, industries and R & D of organizations across the state made an active participation in the Seminar. A number of papers of substance and contemporary relevance made the event purposeful, meaningful and memorable.
