Being a part of DCE has been a wonderful experience. Having its own traditions and way of life for students, it has changed my personality on the whole. It provided me with a confidence to enter the corporate world by sharpening my skills and the knowledge as per the requirements in the industry.I must say - DCE is a place that consists of the requirements that can make your education a joyful and worthwhile experience. In classes there is a strong student to teacher interaction. Thanks to the teachers who have lot of experience and are willing to share it.

As an individual, I always believed that education is the base of life and if one is disciplined and sincere nothing is unachievable. Six years back, when I stepped into DCE, I had never thought that this institution would strengthen my belief further. Education is provided by every institute but DCE makes its students “Problem Solvers”. The robust academic curriculum of its courses reduces the learning curve and gestation time for when you step in the corporate world.

The experience during the summer internships and the projects throughout the course moulds the student into a decision maker. I have myself have experienced how much this helps when I serve my clients across geographies.  With its never-ending list of extracurricular activities, DCE shapes a student’s personality on an overall basis. I began a pivotal journey at Dronacharya with a lot of uncertainty & nervousness. No sooner was a nervous college girl transformed into a confident professional. It was within the college's earnest endeavor to get its students well placed. And I too was placed with a well known MNC while I was still studying in my last year.

Apart from studies & placements, the curriculum was also centered on extracurricular activities. The Sports Week, followed by Techno Fest, provided the much desired break from routine classes. Also, various Clubs at the college exposed me to a host of opportunities.

The four most crucial years of my life were tenderly catered to at the college, by the ready to help & immensely cooperative staff, and I will cherish those bygone days forever.

My department is dedicated to developing intellectual curiosity and personal growth of each individual. I am in true spirit to say that I’ve groomed under such a department which is full of innovations, explorations, victories and ton of smiles. In our department, I have learnt “the art of working hard without leaving a single stone unturned” which has lead me to the path of success. The faculty members are also extremely helpful and supportive. After being in this college for four years and working closing with the environment the department has made me confident enough to quote this for my life ahead:- “Now this is not the end, it is not even the beginning of the end but it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.”

I feel honoured and privileged to say that from all the various departments in our college, I was a part of the CS department. It was the effort of our esteemed HOD and the entire department that led to the various changes in the working of the department. The best thing about the department is that it motivates its students to think out of the box and implement it. I thank Mrs. Chitra Kaul and all the Respected Faculties because there was no student left unheard and bereft of knowledge. The department warrants communication skills and has boosted the students to get exposure by conducting various events time and again.
