To cater the intellectual needs of the academic institutions, corporate sectors and public in general, the Department of Applied Sciences & Humanities of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a one-day in campus workshop on “Ideating-->Inventing-->Patenting” on 22nd February 2014. It was conducted by Inventi Journal Pvt. Ltd., Bhopal a leading research publishing company.

The esteemed speaker Dr. V.B. Gupta, a seasoned scholar and expert in the field of Ideating-Inventing-Patenting disseminated his knowledge among students and faculty members for promoting innovation and creativity in any area like technology, marketing, management, security etc. He further explored the requisites of ideating, inventing and patenting and emphasized on the need of Realization, Ideation, Exploration, Investigation, Simulation.

He also talked about the contribution of Nick DÁliosio and Kavita Shukla who got International recognition due to their innovation and creativity in a very young age.

The Principal Prof. ( Dr.) M.N. Hussain,; the Registrar Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Yadav; the Convener Prof. (Dr.) Sri Krishan Yadav also shared their views with illustrating latest examples of creativity and enlightened the attendees.

Approx 450 students and 50 faculty members attended this workshop and learnt the recent changes taking place in the field of research and innovation.
