WORKSHOP OCT 2013

Electronics and Communication Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a two-day workshop on “Mat DIP& Digital Image Processing” on 21st-22nd October 2013 in association with KC Robotics & Embedded Pvt. Ltd., Noida. The objective of the workshop was to discuss the basics of MATLAB and its applications in digital image processing.

Prof. (Dr.) H.S. Dua, HOD, Electronics & Communication Engineering Department, DCE, Gurgaon inaugurated the workshop and highlighted the benefits and scope of MATLAB in the field of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Mr. Kapil Kumar Garg, Mr. Damender Singh and Mr. Guravtar Singh, resource persons from KC Robotics & Embedded Pvt. Ltd., Noida elaborated the basic concepts, features, various commands and creation of MAT files that can be used in digital image processing applications.

More than 100 students attended the workshop and gained hands on informationabout Matlab software.The workshop concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Kumar Nassa who expressed his heart-felt gratitude to the guest speakers and participants.
