TRADE FAIR

Students from the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon visited the International trade fair “Electronica and Productronica India 2013” on 4th & 6th September 2013 at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi where Electronic Industry across the globe demonstrated and exhibited their products like semiconductor, sensor relays motor drives, EDA assemblies etc.

This was an innovative platform for production technologies covering a wide range of products as packing, material processing, component manufacturing and logistics for PCB, soldering technology, modules and hybrid and laser system for electronics production.

The trade fair got immense support from various electronic associations like Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA), Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK), LED products Manufacturers’ Association, India (LEDMA), India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), Manufacturers’ Association for Information Technology (MAIT), Communication Multimedia and Infrastructure, Association of India (CMAI) and IPC.

Around 200 companies showed their products and innovations in the International trade fair. The fair provided a good platform for stakeholders to understand more about the new opportunities and weave their future plans to take advantage of the same. The live display of various machines and equipments helped the students to gain practical knowledge and enhance their outlook towards the current scenario of the industry.

The students gotthe opportunity to interact with the representatives of International industries like ABC Taiwan, Bosch, AEIS, COMOSS, Fair child Semiconductor etc.

The visit was ducative and provided exposure to the students on the latest manufacturing techniques and applications of electronics products.
