SIRACN-2013

Prof. Vinay Kumar Nassa from Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon attended a three-day National Workshop on “Security issues in Research Area of Communication Network (SIRACN-2013)” sponsored by University Gants Communication, New Delhi and organized by Bapu Rao Deshmukh College Of Engineering, Maharashtra on 25th-27th October 2013. The objective of the workshop was to enhance the knowledge about security issues in the field of communication network.

Dr. D.T. Deshmukh, Principal, Bapu Rao Deshmukh College of Engineering inaugurated the workshop andelaborated about various security issues in research area of Communication Networks. Dr. Abhay Gandhi, Professor, Department of Electronics Engineering,VNIT, Nagpur; Dr. Rajkumar Tugnaik, Principal, S.S. Prasad Agnihotri College of Engineering, Wardha; Prof. R.S. Mangrulkar, HOD (CSE) of B.D. College of Engineering; Dr. Rageshri Raut, Associate Professor at Shri Ramdevbaba Kamla Nehru Engineering College, Nagpur; Prof. A.N. Kamthane, Professor at Shri Guru Gobind Singh College of Engineering, Nanded and Dr. Narender Choudhari, Director VNIT, Nagpur talked about various security issues, security as a trust in networks, security levels for a communication network, authentication protocols, cryptography and securing information over internet, etc.

The workshop was a good learning experience for the participants to enhance their knowledge on security issues in data and web text mining.
