Ms. Kritika Chaudhary, Assistant Professor from the Department of Information Technology of Dronacharya College of Engineering, attended the Summer Research Faculty Fellowship program organised by Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (IIT, Delhi) from 16th May 2013 till 30th June 2013.

Under the guidance of eminent faculty Dr. Rajesh Bhatt, CC Deptt IIT Delhi, she worked on Artificial Intelligence and its applications. In addition to this she also acquired sound knowledge of advanced topics like natural language processing, agents and robotics, expert system planning etc. She also worked on biologically inspired algorithms, evolutionary algorithms, swarm intelligence, bacterial foraging algorithms using Support Vector Machines (SVM). Moreover, she practically applied these algorithms on improving border security of India using the Google map.

The fellowship program as relevant and useful as she would be in a position to assign technical and research oriented projects to the students related to Artificial Intelligence.
