ANDROID & PHP

On 30th October, 2013the department of Computer Science and Engineering of Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon organized a Seminar on “Android Application Development and PHP” in association with Swastik Education Group, Gurgaon. The objective of this seminar was to make the students aware about the practical aspects of Android Applications & PHP. Mr. Balraj and Mr. Nitish Kumar from Swastik Education Groups, Gurgaon were the resource persons.

In the first session, Mr. Balraj enlightened the students on various issues of Android Applications. He started with the history of Androids followed by the sharing of experiences in working with Android applications. He also gave demonstrations on the development of small applications including how to display date & time on screen; how to create icons, etc.

In the second session, Mr. Nitish Kumar talked about the use of PHP for Web Development and discussed a few tricks to gain clients on a website thus building up a business through internet. He covered various other topics like Adapters and widgets, advanced android Development, Sensors, Emulator - Android Virtual Device, Application Structure, Google page rank, Goggle  add service, Google add World, Google keyword, Google web Master, Google tool & Google analytical etc.

It was a good learning experience for the students as they learnt about the practical implementation of Android applications and PHP.
