COMPUTER NETWORKING USING CCNA

Dronacharya College of Engineering, Gurgaon in association with NITTTR Chandigarh, MHRD, (Govt. Of India) conducted a five - day ICT Based Programme on “Computer Networking using CCNA” from 19th may to 23rd May 2014.

In the inaugural session Dr. Jitender Kumar, HOD, IT Department was invited as Chief Guest on behalf of DCE Gurgaon. After the inauguration session, Mr. Mukul Singh started with the technical contents of the workshop. He started with the “Overview of Computer Networking and the concepts of IP Addressing”. He further explained “GNS3 Configuration and Static Routing, Routing Information Protocol (RIP) Implementation and EIGRP Implementation”.

Another speaker Mr. Saurabh Kaushal explained the concepts like “OSPF implementation and ACL implementation”. Also, he took practical sessions on “Implementation of RIP, EIGRP and OSPF protocols. Mr. Vipin Gupta shared his views on “VLAN and VTP configuration on Switch”.

In the “Feedback and Valediction session” the Chief Guests were invited from all the participating colleges. Prof. (Dr.) M. N. Hussain, Hon’ble Principal, DCE Gurgaon graced the occasion thanked all the organizing team members.

The faculty members who participated in the workshop also shared their valuable feedback.
